Ideally, all political campaigns would be publicly funded, and all candidates for a political position would be restricted to a common amount of public funding. Practically, I need to fundraise to run my campaign. As a compromise between idealism and practicality, I hope that the community will invest in my campaign to represent Louisville’s Ward 1 as I wish to invest in the community by serving on City Council.
