The City of Louisville is holding a special election for one seat on City Council in Ward 1. When Chris Leh became mayor, he vacated his seat on City Council in Ward 1 after only two years of his term. City Council appointed Tim Bierman to serve for the third year of this term, and, now, following the City charter, residents will elect a City Councillor to serve for the fourth year of this term. Tim Bierman has decided not to run for his seat.

If you are a resident of Ward 1, then this contest will appear on the first page of your ballot. Drop your completed ballot in the ballot drop box just outside of Louisville’s Recreation and Senior Center by Tuesday 5 November at 7:00 pm.
